Concept
Colourful silhouettes, recognisable human forms and uninhabited, graphic seascapes that tend towards the abstract. All these images are seemingly out of focus, but our gaze perceives them nonetheless, our brain deciphers them, our mind appropriates them, recreates them in a kind of reverie. Thus, amidst the confusing landscapes, others emerge. A known you, recognised in the mist of a memory, in the sweetness of a dream? An unknown you, hard to perceive, disturbing, comatose?
Perhaps it is a possible representation of our separation from the present moment, from the Other? An Other in all its forms. A real screen separates us from the Other, transforming it until it blurs and finally becomes invisible, dissolving into a simplified and perfect imaginary universe. The images then seem to invite us to rest and recharge our batteries. They invite us to a «reset», to a readjustment of our perception.
A new curiosity, the discovery or rediscovery of « the other » to finally open ourselves to a real encounter.
