The why

Visiting in January 2018 Lacertosa Di Giacomo i felt a strong connection and serenity with the place. One precious alchemy especially compouned of one sacred architecture and classical art breathing contemporary minimalist vibes, a powerful surrendering nature and silencious gardens wrapped by the sea air.

One creative energy was here, a moment of grace evidence crossing me deep, pushing me to accomplished art. Low voices arising from the white stones of the place sounded at- tract inexorably my heart.

‘‘Silence in Capri’’ is slow and deep walk to the Lacertosa Di Giacomo monastery history, a thin thread connecting the classical paintings collection of the museum and one contem- porary photography art vision.

One silence, the personnage sounds breathing over the course of his meditations and ambulation. His fashioned, elegant and harmonious pauses alternate with surrendered and contemplatives postures, a tribute to the life and energy of Capri : “the pearl of Italy”.
